Restlessness

Last night was a very restless night, It felt as though I didn't sleep. I felt a sense of urgency and I tossed and turned in my bed. There was something I was supposed to do. Objectives to protect. There were these towers I had to protect. There were three of them that protected something, but they were being overwhelmed. I had to stop the creatures that were attacking the statues. I was alone and in control of what were basically puppets. People to control to defend these objectives. There were five of them split among the three towers but there were enemies besides the large number of lesser creatures. There were other puppets but each was controlled by someone else, making it even harder for me to defend. To make matters worse I was switching at an uncontrollable and rapid pace. I had no control over who I was going to be from one second to the next as I tried to keep both them alive and my towers standing against the onslaught. I knew I would eventually loose but I felt compelled to try. It was exhausting. I felt my body move as I wrestled with my restless half sleep. I felt myself in my bed, moving back and forth but it was if I was only halfway there and halfway in the chaos of my dream. I felt myself slipping further into the dream, then back out and into the tangle of sheets and comforter. After a while of this I woke up, three hours before my alarm was set to go off, drenched in a cold sweat. I can't recall what the end of my dream was, but I know it wasn't good. I find it better if I don't know.

Repeating Dream

I stand alongside a group of people I do not know in real life, but in my dream I know them. There is something urgent me must do and we are all armed in some way. We are in a building, waiting on a darkened ramp on the inside preparing to charge up and around the corner into a lit room where our objective was. We finally moved and we ran up the ramp and into the sunlight room. The room was large and had the base of a tower off to the left of the ramp, towards the center and all around it, save for the concrete platform we were on, was deep septic water that looked a deep green. From this water crawled out a type of creature from a game I enjoy. They are from the game series Half-Life and they are humans who have head creatures called Headcrabs take control of their minds. These forcibly controlled zombies marched out of the much and suddenly I was all alone with the creatures in the way of the path of floating debris that I needed to get over to get inside of this tower. With the gun I had I ran through the creatures, disposing of those only directly in my was before quickly moving into the tower. From here, I', unarmed and I feel as though I'm being chased. I'm inside and each room is a puzzle to get me higher into the tower and further away from my pursuers. I cant see them and I don't even know what they are but I can feel them catching up. I have to solve a puzzle for each floor, they just have to follow my answer. This goes on for a few floors before I feel as if they could be right behind me and that's when I wake up, panting as if I had been actually trying to run from something.

Dream. Night of September 6

Last  night I had a rather strange dream. It was a continuation of a series of repeating dreams I've been having. The dreams are about me being locked inside of a large facility, filled with undead and the crazed living. In the dreams I'm unable to fight back. Only run, hide, and sneak my way through the large, maze like, complex looking for an escape. I've been having these dreams for a few years now and last night just added another "chapter" to this dream. This time, I was able to turn on the main power generator and turn the power back on throughout the facility. With the lights on all the undead disappeared the crazed people all seemed to vanish. I felt triumphant until I saw, in a cinematic cut-scene type of view, that something new was going to impede my escape. It was described to me as a virus. As I watched the cut-scene the entire facility changed, turning into what looked to be a digital world, as if I were inside of a computer and the virus was a nearly invisible computer virus. And this time I wasn't alone. Someone else was in this dream with me and out objective was still to escape. It didn't take long until we failed at that task. The virus was spawning these large, round spheres that had faces and either slid along the floors and walls or floated around in the air. The ones on the floor left a slimy substance that made it nearly impossible to walk on. As we tried to run the person who was with me was caught by one of the spheres and as I turned around to try to help, my feet hit the slick substance that was spread along the ground by the spheres, who were now converging on the person I was with, who I couldn't hear anymore, as I slid towards the tall, sleek walls. The wall behind me that I was sliding towards opened up, revealing a large, blue grid. The slick floors slid me directly into what I was later explained to be a .rar type of file wall and it pulled me in legs first. A split second later I was standing next to the wall as I watched the person who I was being sucked into the wall, screaming as if it were excruciatingly painful. Once he had been fully taken by the wall a window popped up next to the wall, showing his basic components like his clothing, hair, eyes, ect... That's where I woke up.
